Attorney Kostaniak is a partner at the firm.  Her practice areas include criminal defense, family law, probate matters, landlord/tenant, workers compensation, personal injury, commercial and civil litigation, and real estate transactions.

Attorney Kostaniak graduated summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, CT, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. In her second year, she earned the First Year Experience Mentor of the Year Award for working as a teaching assistant for first year students.

Following her husky pride, she earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, CT. While in law school, Attorney Kostaniak worked as Executive Editor on the Connecticut Public Interest Journal and as a teaching assistant for Moot Court. After graduation, she was asked to return to serve as a judge for moot court trials.

Prior to joining the firm in the summer of 2011, Attorney Kostaniak worked as a Temporary Assistant Clerk at the Superior Court in New Britain, CT.  She worked extensively with numerous superior court judges on criminal cases and assisted members of the public in all inquires relating to criminal procedure and practice.

Attorney Kostaniak is fluent in Polish and communicative in Spanish to aid clients who would feel more comfortable dealing with matters in their native language.
